Maltodextrin

Maltodextrin is derived from starch by liquefaction, saccharification and spray drying. Maltodextrin products with different dextrose equivalent (DE) values have different functions and characteristics, such as adsorption, thickening, structure retaining, and texture and flavor improvement. Maltodextrin may be used as an emulsifier, embedding agent, stabilizer and carrier.
